Princeton Sings:
A new immersive community singing experience in beautiful spaces around Princeton.
First Project:
Fleetwood Mac by Candlelight with Live Band / Orchestra
(Dreams, Landslide, Go Your Own Way)
The Vision:
To bring together a large group of people from the Princeton and greater New Jersey community to express compassion, connection, and unity through song.
Participants will learn a simple yet beautiful arrangement designed for singers of all experience levels, so everyone can prepare on their own, feel confident, and be part of something meaningful.
Celebrate the beauty of Princeton by bringing music into some of the area’s most inspiring churches, theaters, hotels, and gathering spaces.
The Experience:
Receive sheet music and professionally-recorded vocal practice tracks to make practicing easy.
Sing along to the practice tracks in both isolated format and part-dominant format until you feel comfortable holding your harmonies.
Attend a 1-hour rehearsal to refine the music and perform it memorized. Arrangements will be written so that they are easy to memorize.
Who this is for:
Adults who “used to sing” and are ready to bring music back into their lives
First-time singers who want to experience the magic of choir in a welcoming, low-pressure environment
Experienced singers looking for a meaningful, low-commitment choral experience
Friends, families, neighbors, and community members looking for new ways to connect through music and shared experiences
Children are encouraged to participate in the project.
If your child likes to sing, try and would be able to sing the words for the whole video,
