Your Coach: Natalie Cardillo

Natalie Cardillo (she/her) is a New Jersey–based vocal arranger, music educator, and a cappella coach with extensive experience guiding groups through competitive performance and artistic refinement. Many of her arrangements have been premiered at the ICHSA and ICCA, and she brings a deep, practical understanding of what makes a set succeed on stage.

As a performer, Natalie placed 3rd at the ICCA Finals in 2013 with the collegiate a cappella group Vocal Point from the University of Delaware. As a director, she led the Ridgewood High School AcaBellas (NJ) to the ICHSA Finals for two consecutive yearsβ€” giving her insight from both levels of the competition.

Drawing on her background as a vocal arranger, former high school choir and a cappella director, and lifelong a cappella fanatic, Natalie specializes in offering thoughtful, actionable feedback that helps groups craft sets with attention to pacing, nailing β€œmoments,” solo delivery, musical sensitivity, and effective storytelling.

Natalie is the founder of ChoralPop, a modern music education platform supporting choirs and a cappella groups through custom arrangements, resources, and professionally recorded practice tracks. She also performs with the Delaware Choral Scholars, currently ranked #1 in the world by Interkultur, and is a former director of the professional all-female a cappella group Cape Harmony.
